Type the name of almost any local business into a phone and the first thing that appears is not a website. It is a map pin with hours, photographs, a rating and a call button. For most people that is where the decision gets made, and the website is only opened if the listing has not already answered the question.
Which means a listing that says Bakery when you are a coffee shop, or shows hours from two owners ago, or has a website field pointing at an Instagram page, is quietly costing you people every single day. None of it is hard to fix. All of it is invisible from behind the counter.
Start with three things. Check the category is right. Check the hours match the door. Check that the website link opens your site and not somebody else's. Then add ten real photographs taken on a phone in daylight. That alone puts you ahead of most of the businesses around you.
